This work is based on interest articulation, and aggregation in society and also provides a feedback mechanism from the people to the government.

Social Engineering is an attempt to bring about a change in the social attitude as well as the behavior of the citizenry in order to achieve desired goals for the development of the society. It includes understanding the social structure and issues, designing plans using innovative methodology, working with different communities, and reaching out to the people at different levels.

Programmes like ‘Last Mile Literacy’ for education and skill development, gender inclusion in the economic sector, as well as other areas of social development remain the focus under social engineering aspect of our work. ORAC works to act as a catalyst for social change.
